I spent the holiday working the night shift at the hospital. Christmas morning Josh got the kids up early and to church to meet me at 7:30am Mass, which I was only 30min late for (hint to anyone marrying anyone in the health care industry.... 12 hr shifts never last only 12 hrs!) We then came home and opened presents and then I took a nap while Josh and the kids played with their new toys. Then Josh went in to work after my nap. Luckily he had a short day at work and we were able to enjoy a delicious steak and shrimp dinner. And then we received our Christmas miracle... I was called off work Christmas night! So we got to go to bed like a normal family ("normal" meaning our kids are still night owls and sleep from 11pm-7am). Miriam got some Minnie Mouse pjs and Joseph got some Toy Story jammies.
So this is as fancy as I got on Christmas day:

| Biggest perk to being a nurse... my uniform is essentially pajama bottoms and tshirts! Gotta love scrubs! |
Merry Christmas from the Soucheks!
Merry Christmas. I spent many a holiday working at the hospital...but the scrubs ARE the best...no worrying about what to wear! Love the kid's PJs, always a fun part of Christmas....new PJS!
